Goal

I CAN how to swim safely in non-standard water conditions (waves).
I KNOW how to behave when swimming in between obstacles.
I FEEL confident to recognize if I can pass through the obstacles in the water.

Success criteria

The ability to swim over and under the swimming pool line ropes while playing.

Environment/Space/Equipment

Shallow/deep water, depending on the level of swimming skills, swimming pool, Swimming pool line ropes.

Group management

The task is performed in group.

Instructor outside the pool.

For safety reasons, direct supervision by a lifeguard is required.

Time/duration/schedule

Approximately 5 minutes.

Pre-requisite

Basic swimming skills.

Description

The swimming pool lanes ropes are arranged randomly in a certain part of the pool, more or less tangled. Children play tag between the ropes. Depending on the variant, they may or may not rest by grabbing the ropes. The area occupied by the ropes defines the playing field. Several taggers can be used.
