Last weekend, the ALFAC team was in Jurmala, Latvia, for the first edition of Learn-to-Swim conference organised by European Aquatics.
The aim of the conference was to launch the European Aquatics Learn-to-Swim Framework. Communication topics addressed the acquisition of aquatic skills, improving the quality of swimming skills, program measurement and drowning prevention.
On the first day, François Potdevin had the opportunity to present the ALFAC project to delegates from 28 European federations, as well as to swim teachers, aquatics professionals, stakeholders and researchers, all of whom were concerned by the issue of learn to swim in Europe.
Many thanks to LEN European Aquatics for the invitation, the organisation and great discussions.
